This packet was put together for clinicians, allied health workers, educators - anyone who is setting goals and working with neurodivergent kids/teens/adults.

It contains:

- NeuroWild Steps to Neuro-Affirming Support (general goal sheet + speech therapist\allied health session sheet)

- Iceberg knowledge tracker (coloured + blank/fillable)

- Play information sheet

The first document shows the breakdown for goals (generally), and shows how we can’t dismiss foundations, wellbeing, regulation, and executive functioning skills.

Why do clinicians need it? Because we have families coming in with specific goals they want targeted, and often we have lots of work to do before we get to them.

This doc shows those steps. Use it in sessions, and pass it along to parents/families/teachers.

The second doc is probably most applicable to speech therapists. It’s a data sheet, lens change, checklist. All of that. I’m sure other allied health workers will find it useful too. Basically, that is the list of stuff you should be thinking about in every session. If you’re not sure about any of those headings, make a note to find out.

Also included is my iceberg knowledge tracker (coloured and blank/fillable) so you can stay on top of what you know and still need to learn. Which topics would you be confident explaining to a family? Colour them in. And the ones that you are not confident with- spend some time learning about them. Consider it a PD plan for 2025.

Lastly, my handout on Play. This document outlines the benefits of a play-based approach vs adult led therapy. If you have any families who are sceptical about the validity of a play-based approach, this document is a good one.
