I created this neuroaffirming resource to explain and validate different forms of communication, as well as different communication preferences, challenges, and accommodations.

  • 18 illustrated pages (square images on A4) introducing and explaining different forms of communication (AAC) in an affirming, empowering way (using kid-friendly language)
 
  • A printable worksheet (black and white, A4) for individuals to reflect on their own communication preferences (primary-friendly)
 
  • A printable questionnaire (tick boxes) for individuals to reflect on specific classroom practices that make school feel difficult (for upper primary and teens)
 
  • A printable questionnaire (tick boxes) for individuals to select accommodations that they would like to see/try in their classroom (for upper primary and teens)
