Autistic kids often find school challenging.

Unfortunately, many of our Autistic students are forced into Neurotypical boxes, which often leads to dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

This 6-page information handout clearly explains how teachers can support Autistic students in the classroom. All recommendations included have come from the Autistic community and Autistic professionals. All information aligns with the Neurodiversity Movement framework.

This resource is a free download. It is recommended for parents of Autistic students, Educators, and other professionals who work with Autistic individuals.

PARENTS: print off a copy of this document. Fill in the first page with information about your child. Deliver this document to your child's teacher and coordinator. Request that they read it. Follow up later in the week to chat about the recommendations.
