What it is:
A clinical questionnaire that explores twelve critical areas of neurodivergent life.
This resource invites neurodivergent tweens, teens, and adults to share their individual experiences, perspectives, and understanding, in a self-report questionnaire format. 
 
The data you will get from the NeuroWild ABOUT ME Questionnaire is qualitative. We are not dealing with scores or percentile ranks. We are getting to know a whole, entire human. We want to find out what this neurodivergent person is juggling, how they feel about themselves, what they know about their brain, what feels hard, what support they currently receive, and what they still need.
 
In each section, individuals are given different statements, and asked to select the responses that feel most correct (e.g. often, rarely, sometimes, don’t know, it depends.) There is also a ‘comments’ section for each item, so individuals can provide more details if they care to.
 
Each of the twelve sections can be administered on its own, or you can select multiple sections to do with the same client. You might consider doing the questionnaire over several sessions if you plan to do all twelve sections with a client.  
 
What it isn’t:
- A diagnostic tool. 
- A standardised assessment.
- A tool that centres the perspective of a client’s parents/caregivers.
 
This questionnaire is suitable for clients who are:
- Tweens, teens, or adults
- New or existing
- Neurodivergent or suspected neurodivergent
- Not diagnosed neurodivergent, but having a hard time
- Going through the assessment process
- Likely to understand the language used
- Willing to complete it
 
Note: This questionnaire will not be suitable for every client. Consider which clients this tool would be appropriate for.
